My book, All About Professional Fur Handling, can be used as a step-by-step guide to process your furs This book offers many tips and secrets to maximize your fur check by learning methods that professional fur handlers use to process their furs and prepare them for sale.

Market Outlook:
As each fur season comes to a close, various patterns and some surprises occur. This last trapping season was no exception. A fair amount of raw furs were sold and this combined with an anticipated lower catch next season, will help improve the outlook. My advise to you is enjoy your time outdoors and if possible encourage our youth to become involved in trapping to help preserve our future.

* Beaver castor and muskrat gland. We prefer fresh frozen glands!
* Muskrats from most sections East of the Mississippi
* Raccoons, semi-heavy and heavy skins, NO Coat types at this time
* Semi-heavy and heavy grey fox
* Southern bobcats
* River otters from most sections.
